What is home insurance? 🤔

Home insurance is an insurance contract designed to protect the property and occupants of a home against various risks and damages. This insurance provides financial coverage in case of incidents such as fires, water damage, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, etc.

What does Studapart's home insurance cover?

Studapart's home insurance covers all damages that could affect your property:

  • Fire

  • Water damage

  • Storm, hail, snow

  • Theft, vandalism

  • Broken glass

  • Attack

  • Natural disaster, technological disaster

It also includes:

  • Civil liability (neighbors and landlord): this coverage compensates your neighbors and third parties who are victims of damages for which you are responsible. Example: water damage or fire originating in your home causing damage to others.

  • Private sphere civil liability (household members): covers you, as well as members of your household or roommates, for material or bodily damages caused to others in the context of your private life, excluding the school environment. Example: breaking the glasses or laptop of one of your roommates.

💡 Note: our home insurance does not cover damages or incidents that occur in the school environment. If you want to add this dimension, you will need to add it separately in your "les assurés" space.
