A landlord is asking me to make a payment outside the platform, is that normal?

No. When booking, both the service fees and the first month’s rent must be paid directly through the Studapart platform.
Any payment made outside the platform is not secure. In such cases, we won’t be able to provide post-booking support or protect you in the event of a cancellation or dispute.
Studapart cannot be held responsible for any amounts paid outside the platform.

We strongly encourage users to report any unexpected or undisclosed additional fees to help maintain transparency and safety for everyone.
External payment links or requests for direct transfers to a bank account (for example, via Western Union) are usually scams.

However, please note that your security deposit and subsequent rent payments are made directly to your landlord.
Studapart does not handle these payments, their terms and conditions are outlined in your rental agreement.
