How to rent at Studapart?
Updated over a week ago

The quest for housing is an exciting adventure, but following the right steps is crucial to maximize your chances of finding your gem!

Step 1: Enter your criteria

To start, clearly define your criteria:

  • City

  • Accommodation type

  • Move-in date

  • Duration

  • Budget

  • Surface and rooms

  • Rental duration

These criteria can be adjusted in the "All filters" section on the left side of your screen or at the top of your search engine.

You can adjust your criteria at any time to refine your searches. You can even specify if you want to live near a particular place (work, university, your children's daycare, etc.).

🚀 Tip

Start your search 2 months in advance. In the housing search, the key is anticipation. The earlier you start, the better your chances.

At Studapart, our landlords plan ahead for their next leasing to avoid any rental vacancies! Availability is updated as soon as they know the end date of their current tenant's lease. You can find housing available immediately, in 2 months, 6 months, and even 1 year! Don't worry, we make them visible based on the filters in your searches.

Step 2: Check the listings 🔍

At Studapart, it's the perfect match: landlords and tenants are connected based on the criteria entered on the platform (move-in date, duration, rental application). Once your criteria are in place, explore our selection of listings that match your needs.

On the listings, you'll find all the details of the offered accommodation:

  • Housing features

  • Housing description

  • Included services

  • Optional services

  • Monthly rent

  • Eligibility for allowance

  • Surface

  • Owner/Residence/Real estate agency identity

🔔 Remember to activate email alerts to stay updated on new listings!

Step 3: Complete your application securely 📝

You can submit your documents and access your rental application through your tenant account. Upload the necessary documents and make sure to fill in all sections.

  • Personal information: my details, financial situation, documents

  • Guarantors: indicate if you have a guarantor residing in France or abroad

You still need to submit the requested documents 😉

⚠️ The protection of your personal data is our priority: this information will only be shared with the landlord if you send them a message or a reservation request. Otherwise, this information is stored on secure servers and will not be disclosed.

Step 4: Express your interest to landlords 💼

Once your application is ready, it's time to send a message to the landlord, residence, or real estate agency. You can also directly make a request by sending your information and the desired move-in date.

Have you found a favorite? 💖

Stand out by sending a reservation request and securely providing your banking details to the landlord. It's not mandatory, but it's an extra step to support your interest. Choose your favorites wisely. Once a landlord accepts, the accommodation is yours, and declining is no longer possible.

Feel free to apply to multiple accommodations; it's the key to maximizing your chances!

Step 5: Reserve online 📲

Track your applications and communicate with the landlord in the message tab.

If you and the landlord agree, it's time to reserve online by paying the first rent and Studapart fees. If your landlord wishes, they can add the Studapart Guarantee to your reservation. If you don't have the Guaranteed Profile, then the Studapart Guarantee will be at your expense, and Studapart will guarantee you throughout the entire rental period!

🚀 Pro tips to maximize your chances

To shine with landlords, we offer tips: be responsive, complete your application 100%, avoid questions already addressed in the listing, and don't hesitate to follow up when needed. And most importantly, don't get discouraged! Perseverance always pays off! 🌟
