All about Studapart's Cancellation Insurance

Updated today

At Studapart, we know that life can be full of surprises, and planning ahead isn’t always easy. That’s why we’ve launched Cancellation Insurance by Studapart: a simple and reassuring solution! 😊

Why choose Cancellation Insurance by Studapart?

If you’ve subscribed to the Cancellation Insurance and your cancellation reason is covered, we’ll fully reimburse:

  • The first month’s rent

  • The Studapart booking fees

  • The agency or residence service fees (if applicable)

⚠️ Note: even though the security deposit must not be requested by individual landlords, it may still be collected by certain residences. In any case, neither the Studapart Guarantee nor the security deposit are covered by the cancellation insurance. Additionally, only payments made directly on Studapart are covered!

Am I eligible for Studapart’s Cancellation Insurance?

Cancellation Insurance only applies to accommodations located in Metropolitan France.

Additionally, only bookings made with certain landlords are eligible.

📝 To check your eligibility, review the terms of your booking online.
Also, make sure your information is accurate to ensure proper coverage.

How do I add the Cancellation Insurance when booking online?

Adding the insurance is very simple! When booking on Studapart, you have two options:

  • Zen Booking 😊: You include Cancellation Insurance.
If a covered event occurs (visa refusal, health issue, job change, etc.), you’re refunded 100% of the covered amounts.

  • Standard Booking 🙂: You choose the regular booking without cancellation insurance. You benefit from Studapart’s basic protection: only housing-related issues (uninhabitable accommodation, unavailable property, etc.) are refundable.

👉 In short: Zen Booking is ideal if your situation is not yet fully confirmed.
It’s an extra layer of security so you can book with peace of mind.

⚠️ Important: Check your move-in date carefully, as the insurance covers you until the day before the date shown on the platform.
If the actual date differs, coverage is based on the platform date.

How much does Cancellation Insurance cost?

The price is based on the amount you paid on the platform. On average, it costs around €120 for the duration of your booking on Studapart. The exact personalized amount is displayed directly on the payment page during your reservation.

Can I modify Cancellation Insurance after booking?

Yes, the end date of your Cancellation Insurance can be updated if your move-in date changes, within a 1-month limit. Beyond that, no changes can be made. Be sure to double-check your information to avoid any surprises!⚠️

Cancellation Insurance by Studapart cannot be canceled or refunded, as it is there to protect you in case of unexpected cancellation.
It’s your shield against the unexpected and it’s here for that! 🛡️
